Actress Rakul Preet Singh files a plea in Delhi High Court to stop media trials against her in Rhea Chakraborty case.
After taking her time, renowned Tollywood, Bollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh has filed a petition in Delhi High Court to put a full stop on the media trial which is baseless according to her.The ‘Bruce Lee’ actress, in her petition, has mentioned that she met Rhea once or twice and she has no connection with the ongoing drug scandal.
In her plea, Rakul urged the HC to order the Information and Broadcast Ministry to stop the negative campaign against her.Reportedly Rakul’s lawyer has mentioned in the plea that media is harassing Rakul with baseless allegations.The lawyer further added that multiple channels are daily coming up with a new story on Rakul to defame the actress on social media.
Consequently, the court is said to be given a notice to the Central government, Press Council of India, NBA, and I&BM to give necessary advice to media.
Rakul’s name came forward when a reputed national media included her with Sara Ali Khan and Simone Khambatta in connection with the ongoing drug scandal in Bollywood.
