Lucknow, Nov 26th : Uma Shankar Singh has been appointed the leader of the Legislature Party by the Bahujan Samaj Party in Uttar Pradesh.Uma Shankar Singh succeeded Guddu Jamali. Singh, a two-term MLA, represents the Rasra Assembly seat of Ballia district.He is also a Thakur by birth.
The BSP issued a statement a day later, saying that Guddu Jamali had resigned from his post and was being dismissed for his involvement in an exploitation case by a woman.
