Fire hazards are on the rise.Accidentally, fires due to short circuit cause property damage of millions of rupees.
On Sunday morning, a huge fire broke out in the Secunderabad club.The accident caused property damage of about Rs 20 crore.
The accident took place in early morning on sunday.This caused the fire to spread throughout the club and burned completely.
Upon learning of the matter, firefighters with 10 Fire Engines rushed to the scene and brought the blaze under control.The fire at the club cost about Rs.20 crore property damage is reported.The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
Police have registered a case and are investigating.
It is said that the programs were held till dawn as it was weekend.
Authorities are evacuating people from the surrounding areas.Traffic to the area was suspended due to the proximity of the Jubilee Bus Stand.
Police are taking steps to prevent any accident in the vicinity.
The club was formed in 1879 for military officers during the British rule.
The club was built on an area of about 20 acres.Recognized as an Indian Heritage Site in 2017, the postal cover was released.
The Secunderabad Club has a staff of 300.In addition, the Secunderabad Club has a membership of over 5,000.
