Star director Mani Ratnam has earlier planned a film with Superstar Mahesh Babu and Nagarjuna Akkineni.But the film did not materialize and the director having faith in the story and the actors decided to keep it on hold and went on to make a new film.
Mani Ratnam made the film OK Bangaram with Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen and scored a blockbuster. Now, without wasting any time, he is back with his story and once again approached the two actors but it seems that the actors are very busy now and have asked the director to wait.
But, Mani Ratnam has now decided to make the film with other stars and apparently he made changes to his story and has narrated it to Tamil actor Karthi and Malayalam superstar Mammotty.Both have given their nod to the film and the project is happening now.Mani Ratnam considered Aishwarya Rai and Shruthi Haasan as the female leads for the film and now they are going to give their nod soon.More details are awaited and the official confirmation and an announcement is expected to be out once everything was finalized.
