Hyderabad, November 23, : , A man reached the African Lion Moat Area at Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad on Tuesday.This caused some tension for the staff and visitors.Zoo personnel saved him and handed him to the police.

Sai Kumar was later identified as the 31-year old man who managed to climb onto the African Lion Moat Area boulder, from which the lions can be released into the exhibited enclosure.
S.Rajashekar (Nehru Zoological Park) said that the incident took place at 3.30 p.m.According to Rajashekar, the incident occurred around 3.30 p.m.
The Zoo released a video showing the man looking at the lion from above while he sat vulnerably on top of a boulder.
He looked as though he wanted to leap down.
Visitors were afraid and shouted to stop him.He was ordered to get out by one of the Zoo workers.The man fled from the Zoo only after that.
He was captured by Zoo personnel and taken to Bahadurpura Police Station.
He was taken into police custody and questioned.
The man was not able to get into the forbidden area.
A 35-year old drunk man jumped in a Nehru Zoological Park lion enclosure, but was saved by an alert animal keeper.
Mukesh was a Sikar resident in Rajasthan.
He had escaped the African Lion enclosure barricade despite being warned by security personnel.
