Madhubala\'s Sister To Take Legal Action Against Makers Of Late Actress\' Biopic

Madhubala’s sister will take legal action against the makers of her biopic about the late actress.

Mumbai 5 Aug : A biopic of the legendary actress Madhubala and her family is in production.The star’s youngest daughter Madhur Brij Bhushan has said she is “unhappy about the annoyance that is being created.”
Madhur’s business, Madhubala Ventures Private Limited is also preparing to co-produce a biopic with an established studio.

She states: “I have come to know that certain people are in the middle of a saga regarding an upcoming film or series.that affects my sister’s life and without my permission.I ask them not to engage in any such escapade otherwise I will leave no step unturned in taking the strongest legal action.”

In the same way, Madhur also reveals that she along with her team members and her lawyers “have decided to initiate legal proceedings against certain individuals, companies that have been involved in an illegal profiteering of Madhubala’s story rights.”

She has asked actors, producers and other talents not to be part of projects that are related to Madhubala that haven’t been approved.

She states: “I request that no producer, actor, studio or any other talent should collaborate on any project that isn’t explicitly authorized by me, as it would be a violation of my family’s rights to emotional and legal.”

“Time and time again I am requesting that I be protected from the unlawful exploiting of my sister’s life story rights , because I would never want to pursue legal action against anyone, especially considering that my sisters and I are both old today, and are seniors.However, if necessary I’ll not shy away from defending legally the rights that are legally ours.”

Bhushan is determined to present the most stunning tribute to her sister.

“We all agree that it’s high time that we tell the story of Madhubala’s love to the world at large.She began her career as a young girl and became the “Venus” of Indian cinema.”

“It’s very emotional day for my family and me.My team and I hope to make with an exquisite compassionate film with some of the finest talents in the field of film.We’re looking for all your good suggestions,” she says.

The announcement is made following Bollywood producer Tutu Sharma took on the challenge of making a documentary about Madhubala’s life.
