Mumbai 19 August : TV actress Kanishka Soni, famous for her role in “Diya Baati Hum”, has tied the knot in India’s second autogamy reported following Kshama Bindu of Gujarat has done the same. On her Instagram, she posted a series of photos where she appears to be dressed in casual attire and sporting an aresoor in her forehead, as well as the word’mangalsutra’.
She wrote a long message in the caption, where she wrote with her followers that she believes in Indian culture and that marriage isn’t about sex but about honesty and love.
She has written, “Married to myself since I’ve fulfilled all my hopes mine and the only thing I’m in love with is ME.I am the answer to every question I am finding that I don’t require any man ever .I am content always on my own and in the silence with my guitar, I am goddess-like, strong and powerful, Shiva & Shakti everything is within ME thank You (sic).”
In a separate blog post, she spoke about her perspective of viewpoint and the choice of getting married herself.She said, “I know you guys have been asking a lot of questions regarding my self-marriage decision, but I believe in the Indian culture and here is my perspective on the reason I chose to live in solitude .Marriage is not related to sex it’s about honesty and love one wants to achieve and I’ve lost that faith and belief.”
She added in the caption “So it’s more beneficial to be in my own space and be happy rather than seek it in the outside world, especially in the event that it’s difficult to find.But thanks for sharing my blog post on #google #trending as well as in news though.”
In response to the trolls, she said that she made the decision after weighing it over, “It wasn’t my intention and also some people suggested I must have been drunk or had a ganja drink in the process of writing this post but I’ll tell you that I am Indian by nature that I haven’t ever tried the alcohol nor any other substance even after a long time in the film industry.It is a choice made with my whole heart and soul with an open mind.I am very happy to be in USA now and focusing on my career path in Hollywood (sic).”
