Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has sought a detailed report on the issue of Narsapuram MP Raghurama Krishnam Raju.He forwarded the complaint lodged by the family members of Raghurama Krishnaraja to the House privileges committee.
It is learned that Raghurama Krishnama Raju’s wife Ramadevi, son Bharat and daughter Indira Priyadarshini had lodged a complaint with Om Birla against the arrest of Raghurama by the AP CID.
The Speaker’s Office has asked the Home Ministry to submit a report on Raghurama’s case.Raghurama Krishnamaraju family members sent a copy of the complaint of Raghurama Krishnamaraju to the Home Affairs Department.Recently, Raghurama’s family members lodged a complaint against the arrest of Raghurama by CID officials and the manner in which the police had treated him.
Also, Raghurama Krishnamaraju’s family members brought the matter of his arrest to Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s attention.They lodged a complaint with Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Meanwhile, Raghurama Krishnam Raju was granted conditional bail in the Supreme Court.Doctors at the Secunderabad Army Hospital reported that Raghurama Krishna Raju had a fractured toe.However, CID counsel Dushyanth Dave said the medical team could not determine the cause of the injury.
