The cyclones Tauktae and Yaas have destroyed many parts of the country, especially in the coastal areas.Though the state governments have taken many measures, the severe cyclone ‘Yaas’ resulted in heavy destruction.
The effect of cyclone Yaas is mainly seen in Odisha, and West Bengal states.
On the other end of the scale, the Hyderabad Meteorological Department has forecast that, in the next 24 hours, the entrance of the southwest monsoon from the Bay of Bengal adjoining the southern Andaman Sea.
