As known to all, ‘Liger’ is a pan-India film and it will be releasing simultaneously in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.Earlier, the film was referred to as ‘Fighter’ but later on, the team has decided to change the name to ‘Liger’ which is a crossbred animal between Tiger and Lion.
The upcoming pan-Indian project with filmmaker Puri Jagannadh has been the talk of the town since its inception and now the makers have dropped another exciting announcement. Now the team has announced that they will be releasing their release date to all the fans tomorrow.
The first look of the film was out a couple of weeks ago and it has been a massive hit amongst the fans.Karan Johar, who is backing the Hindi version of the film, shared a video of Ananya Panday and co-producer Charmee Kaur giving an update about ‘Liger’s’ release date announcement which will be out tomorrow at 8:14 AM.In the video, Ananya was seen excited about her debut down south.
Sharing about the same on Twitter, Johar wrote, “It’s going to be one dhamaakedar punch of entertainment which crosses all language barriers! #Liger is coming to theatres near you…tune in tomorrow for the release date announcement at 8:14 am! #SaalaCrossbreed.”
The film is being co-produced by hotshot Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta.The film stars Vijay Devarkonda who has worked hard for his training in martial arts.
The next schedule of the film will commence in March and will complete the major portions of the shoot except for two action episodes that are planned in Bangkok.This will be Vijay’s first Bollywood film and Puri too is hoping to make a mark in Bollywood after a normal film like ‘Buddha Hoga Tera Baap’.
