Los Angeles, Aug 10 : Singer Liam Gallagher stopped playing violin because he was afraid he might be bullied at school. The former Oasis singer, 49, claimed that his mother Peggy bought him the guitar at a cost of $36 in his youth, leaving him in the midst of a fury when his older brother Noel 55, also a musician, received guitar lessons, according to aceshowbiz.com.
“Noel got guitar lessons.I believe he played guitar in school,” Liam said as reported in the Daily Star on Tuesday, September 9.
“And my mam decided to buy me an F ****** violin due to a strange reason, and I was taken to school, then back.It was not cool and I was quite hipster with it but it was also an absolute s ***.”
Liam could not avoid being bullied online about his new blonde hairstyle.
The father of four Liam had to strike back at the flood of humorous speculation he dyed his hair when he posted a picture with blonde hair.
He posted a photo on Twitter with the caption “Ey blonde” and triggered a flurry of trolling.
One user on Twitter asked “How’s the midlife crisis going?” Another user replied with “That’s gray,” with others asking him for advice regarding hair dying techniques and getting older.
Liam hit back, “It’s blonde .I don’t have grey.I’ve not dyed my hair blonde you lunatics it’s just the light n the sunshiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine ffs.”
It also triggered another round of responses, with one fan saying: “Stop lying, you’ve had grey hair, aren’t you?” — and the “Wonderwall” singer threatened to shut down the doubters.
