Disheartening news and even more for the music lovers…Legendary playback singer Vissamraju Ramkrishna is no more.The well known singer of yesteryear has left this world earlier today [16th July 2015].
Vissamraju Ramkrishna has sung over 5000 songs and is renowned for his association with actors like ANR and Sobhan Babu.Ramakrishna was born on August 20th 1947 in Vizianagaram.
Ramakrishna was 68 and he is survived by his wife and son.Actor Sai Kiran is son of Ramakrishna.
Ramakrishna sang some memorable songs in films like Alluri Seetharama Raju, Amaradeepam, Bhakta Kannappa, Karunamayudu, Andala Ramudu, Muthyala Muggu, etc.He recently has also taken up acting for the past 5-6 years has been shooting for serials and characters in films as well.He also is still continuing to sing for many concerts across Andhra Pradesh.Several film celebs paid their homage to the legendary singer.May his soul rest in peace!
