Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ is a scene-to-scene remake of South Indian Super Hit ‘Muni 2: Kanchana’.
The much-awaited ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ is all set to stream on Disney+ Hotstar on November 9, 2020, and the recently released trailer has shown it would be a scene-to-scene remake from ‘Kanchana’.
When the film had released in all South Indian languages and dubbed in Hindi, film lovers expect some improvisation from the makes.However, the choreographer turned director Raghava Lawrence is in no mood to change even a bit that is what the trailer says.
Kanchana released 9-years ago, and the only change we observe from the trailer is, Hero goes to Heroine house, which is a reversal in the original.Nevertheless, Akshay Kumar did a fabulous job as Laxmmi.
If at all the film is going to be a money-spinner, remember this is not a theatrical release, it would be his performance as Laxmmi.Probably, that is what inspired Akshay to do the film through which he can showcase a piece of his acting prowess.
Like in the original, the comedy parts in the trailer are dead old and forced.It seems Lawrence hasn’t made any new comic-scenes in the film to suit the Bollywood audience.
The only saving grace would be the flashback episode, which was watched by all Hindi audience as well, on YouTube.Finally, it has to be seen, how Akshay would able to pull the viewership on Disney+ Hotstar with his performance.
