Mumbai 18 August : Actor Kushagre dua, currently starring in “Bahot Pyar Karte Hai” and says he isn’t looking to be typecast and wants to play a role similar to the one the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput in “Pavitra Rishta’. Kushagre who has been featured in shows like ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Meiin’ and ‘Divya Dishti Kushagre, who has appeared in shows like ‘Ghum Hai Kisi “I want to play positive today with some intriguing hues and emotional.
If I were to talk about my ideal role I would love to play a character who is raw.Sushant played in “Pavitra” that had so many layers to play.It could be a romantic son, a possessive guy or gully guy.If not, I would like to play a don.I hope to get the chance soon.”
“PavitraRishta” is an 2009 Indian soap opera which aired from 2009 until 2014.It was a remake of Tamil television show “Thirumathi Selvam”.In the latter part of 2018 and in 2020 following the death of Sushant Singh Rajput who played the character of Manav, the famous character Manav the show was rebroadcast by the channel.
He states: “I have been continuously playing roles that were negative for quite a while now.But I’m not feeling victimized by others.I see every role as a brand new adventure with new opportunities.As an actor, instead of making comparisons with the roles I perform I believe in making them more effective.”
“I think that roles with negatives allow actors to experiment and have many pros and cons.In the end, I’m happy with my role, and my audience.I’m blessed to get another chance to work with Sandeep Sikand sir in the wake of “Mehndi Hai Rachne waali”.There’s a lot to learn from him, and to grow as an actor.”
Sushant Singh Rajput took suicide in his house in Bandra, Mumbai in June 2020, aged 34.
