KTR says Central government is not responding to the State governments’ requests.
Earlier, Telangana State government has requested the Central government to provide financial assistance to lessen the hardship caused due to floods.
However, the Modi-led government has not shown concern in releasing the flood relief, says Minister and TRS working president KT Rama Rao.
He said the Central government is discriminating against Telangana by not releasing flood relief fund.
However, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has released Rs 500 crore to Gujarat and Rs 670 crore additional relief to Karnataka.He alleged the Central government did not respond even after the three weeks of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao wrote a letter to Modi.
KTR pointed out that BJP is biased against non-BJP states and acting in favour of BJP-ruled states.
From the statement of KTR, the TRS government has helped 4.30 lakh flood-hit-families in the state.He alleged Congress and BJP parties are not showing any interest in helping the farmers, but criticising the TRS government.
Further, he added that both the parties are interested in politics than helping the people, and said, BJP and Congress do not have any right to criticise the TRS government.
