Senior director Kodandarami Reddy was one of the important forces behind the rise of Chiranjeevi to Megastar.The duo delivered massive blockbusters like Khaidi, Raakshasudu, Challenge, Kondaveeti Donga, Pasivadi Pranam, Mutha Mestri etc.However, there had been cracks in between them and they have stopped working together.
In an interaction with media recently, Kodandarami Reddy made some controversial comments on Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 150th film.
The director went on saying that Public isn’t ready today to accept any kind of social messages from Chiranjeevi.Instead, Kodandarami Reddy suggested that Chiranjeevi should stick to comedy where is good at.These comments seriously irked Megastar and Mega fans.
Eventually, Kodandarami Reddy apologised for his negative comments on Chiranjeevi.
He said that he wasn’t really aware of what he was speaking that day and all the comments he passed were not completely intentional.It was just his flow which has taken him away.
In this regard, the senior filmmaker has asked the fans, Chiranjeevi and VV Vinayak to excuse him.
