Talking at a press meet, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy said several party leaders complained about phone tapping by the Telangana government during the Dubbak by-election.It has irked the TPCC leaders. They said it is not the first time the Telangana government is doing that.

They are criticizing Kishan Reddy for not considering their complaints about the phone tapping for a long time.

The TPCC leaders said, being a Union Minister, Kishan Reddy can order an inquiry based on the earlier complaints of phone-tapping.

They fumed over Kishan Reddy’s comments where he said he formally complains with the Chief Election Commissioner.

TPCC official spokesperson, Sravan Dasoju said, Telangana Congress is continuously voicing about the phone tapping of Telangana government for a long time.

It is unethical for any government to eavesdrop on opposition party leaders. He questioned the Union Minister, why hasn’t an enquiry started when he knew about the phone tapping by the TG government?

Sravan urged Kishan Reddy to order an inquiry at least now as the Congress has already complained about it in the State police and the Information Technology Departments, Chief Secretary and Union Home Ministry. He demanded Kishan Reddy take immediate action.
