Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu has presented the state budget for the year 2015-16 in the Assembly today.This is the first full-fledged budget of Andhra Pradesh after separate Telangana state was carved out in June last year.
Yanamala proposed an total budget of Rs.1,13,049 crore, comprising non-plan expenditure of Rs.78,637 crore and plan expenditure of Rs.34,412 crore.Estimated revenue deficit is Rs.7,300 crore and fiscal deficit is estimated at Rs.17,584 crore.
The key allotments have gone new capital, for rural development, Primary and Secondary education.Rs.3,168 crore provision proposed for new State capital.Here are key allotments sin the AP budget.
