Thiruvananthapuram : , Nov 21 : , Kerala Police have arrested Munnar, Idukki District woman after she attacked her ex-love with acid.He was blinded in one eye. Arun Kumar (28), a youth from Poojapura in Thiruvananthapuram is currently being treated at Thiruvananthapuram Medical College.On November 16, the incident took place at Irumpupalam, Adimali district, near St Antony’s Church.
Sheeba, 35 (identified as Sheeba), worked as a nurse in Thiruvananthapuram and met Arun Kumar.
Mohammed Khani, Adimmali’s police sub-inspector, told media that Sheeba had been married to Santhosh (a painter) and they had two children.
Arun Kumar wanted her to marry him, but he discovered that Sheeba was married with two children and she had been divorced.
According to police, Sheeba had invited Arun under the pretense of Adimali’s urgency and then, when he reached Adimali, she poured acid on him.
Arun Kumar was admitted to the hospital by doctors who said that his vision had completely disappeared from his right eye.
Police say Sheeba was using formic acid to coagulate rubber latex.
Sheeba was also injured in the melee.However, police stated that Sheeba has not been prescribed any medications.
