They used abuses against them and called them anti-national, Khalistani and agensts of Pakistan and China.

“They didn’t spare our farmers’ lives and an SUV even ran over protesting farmers in Lakhimpur Kheri.

Kejriwal stated that the Supreme Court would have prevented the perpetrators from the heinous crime from being arrested.

He said, “I still don’t understand why the Centre shields those who crushed farmers under their cars,”

The leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), congratulating the farmers, said that the struggle against injustice was the longest in human history.

Indian farmers had previously led a similar struggle against then-British government. It lasted for eight months.

The current protest against one’s government has been ongoing for 12 months.I want to congratulate farmers for winning peacefully this battle. It is a victory for democracy.”

He also congratulated Punjabi farmers for leading the protest and women for standing by the men in every circumstance.

Kejriwal compared his entry into politics to the 2011 anti-corruption protest that led to him being elected. The Delhi government tried to support the farmers in any way possible, whether it was in terms of financial arrangements or other means.

Kejriwal took aim at BJP and said, “Since BJP came to power it has tried to stifle everybody.” We are also agreed with their party members on this. All this has made them feel even more pained. They have been told that their level of posting will depend on how loud they shout.

“BJP is such a shameless party, that when the Centre introduced three farm laws to the Parliament, it called it a masterstroke’.He added that when they announced their intention to repeal them, they still hailed it as a’masterstroke”.
