The national award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh, who was last seen in Eashvar Karthic’s woman-centric movie ‘Penguin’, followed by another women-centric film ‘Miss India’, has now already wrapped up the shooting of her upcoming film, ‘Good Luck Sakhi’.The film was supposed to be wrapped up before the lockdown was imposed but got delayed due to the pandemic.
Now the makers of ‘Good Luck Sakhi’ made an official announcement regarding its release date.
They have locked the 3rd of June to be its release date while they shared a new poster with Keerthy Suresh, Jagapathi Babu, and Aadi Pinnisetty.
In an appreciable move, the makers have changed their previous decision to release the film directly on Netflix to give it a theatrical release first.Keerthy Suresh plays a shooter in this sports drama film.
Aadi Pinisetty plays her romantic companion while Jagapati Babu appears will be seen in a crucial role.The film will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam.
It also has Rahul Ramakrishna and Rama Prabha in important roles.
Directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, the multi-lingual film is bankrolled by Sudheer Chandra Padiri on Worth A Shot Motion Arts banner while producer Dil Raju is presenting the film.Devi Sri Prasad has scored music while Chirantan Das has cranked the camera.Besides ‘Good Luck Sakhi’, Keerthy Suresh will also appear in Mahesh Babu’s ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’, Nithiin’s ‘Rang De’ and a Malayalam film, ‘Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham’, directed by Priyadarshan.
