The chief minister has warned the police officials that there is a strong possibility of communal violence ahead of GHMC polls.
The chief minister of Telangana, K Chandrasekhar Rao had held an emergency meeting with the city police officials on Wednesday.
He reviewed the law and order situation in the state and has warned the police officials of communal violence during the GHMC polls, as he reportedly said, he got the right information about the plan.He asked the police department to be on high alert as a particular political section is trying to postpone the GHMC elections through communal violence.
While talking to police, KCR said a few leaders are using social media to spread false news and conspiring to divert the people.Further, the leaders are aggravating with religious statements.
But, the people are intelligent enough to reject their comments, said the chief minister.
Consequently, to make it worse, the leaders are in plans to start the communal clashes in several districts, including Karimnagar and Warangal.
The Telangana CM has asked the police across the states to be cautious till the GHMC polls complete and urged the people not to fall into such traps.
