A deserved and needed benefit for NBK 100th film even before it’s release. Since, Gautamiputra Satakarni is a biopic of Telugu emperor Satakarni, who has connects with both Telugu states and he is someone who elevated and carried the Telugu pride, the governments of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have decided to make the film exempted from Entertainment tax.

In simple words, the producers of Gautamiputra Satakarni need not pay any entertainment tax to the governments for the tickets sold in both Telugu states. It’s tax free in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

This is a huge benefit. In boxoffice terms, no nett is calculated with exemption on tax. Ticket prices are supposed to be lowered which will bring more footfalls. That means, more number of audience are expected to watch the film. More importantly, the share collections will remain high.

Gautamiputra Satakarni is undergoing censor on 5th January. This Balakrishna starrer will be opened at ticket windows from January 12th.
