Mumbai 8 August : Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has a debt to a contestant of his popular quiz show “Kaun Banega Crorepati’ since 1970. In the most recent advertisement of the show Big B was seen sitting in the hotseat to answer the questions posed by contestant Dhulichand Aggarwal from Durg, Chhattisgarh.
He is the very first contestant of the season.During an enjoyable discussion with host he requested that he name him “DC”.
He claims: “During college days, my friends would play me around with the question of what was this name Dhulichand after which one of my friends said to me that DC is too good on you.So, please call me DC.”
Big B replies: “Your name is beautiful, and you’ll feel good, but to us, it will sound like AC, DC and AC.”
Later, in an entertaining banter Dhulichand also reveals that Amitabh Bachchan is owed money since 1970.Big B was shocked and he changed seats with him and sat down on the hot seat.
The show ‘KBC 14’ began on the 7th of August and a host of celebrities took the hot seat and played with Big B.The celebrities who appeared in the program as special guests were Aamir Khan, as well as sports legends such as Mary Kom and Sunil Chhetri as well with Mithali Madhumita, who was the first female officer to be awarded the Gallantry Award as well as Major D.P.Singh, India’s first blade runner.
“KBC 14” is a show on Sony Entertainment Television.
