Varanasi (Dec 13) (IANS Prime Minister NarendraModi Monday stated that India’s Kashi Vishwanath Corridor Project is a symbol for its spiritual soul. The Prime Minister dedicated the Kashi Vishwanath Dham project, dedicating it to the nation.Kashi Vishwanath Daham is more than a magnificent building.It’s a symbol for India’s culture, traditions and culture.Kashi is a testament to how the inspirations from the past are guiding the way for the future.
Kashi, the Prime Minister stated that it is an amazing mixture of novelty and antiquity that comes alive.
The glory of India’s past is being rediscovered, which he said would showcase India’s energy, tradition, and mobility.
The Prime Minister quoted extensively scriptures and also spoke Bhojpuri to establish a connection with the people.
All can enjoy ‘Kashi and Ganga.This city was attacked by the invaders who tried to take it down.
His atrocities and terror in trying to destroy civilization with the sword are part of Aurangzeb’s history.The soil in this country is very different to the rest.If Aurangzeb comes here, Shivaji stands up.He said that if Salar Masood comes here, brave warriors such as King Suheldev will make him realize the power and unity of our union.”
Ahilyabai Holkar was said to have helped with the reconstruction of the temple after it was attacked.
According to the Prime Minister, although it was 3,000 sq.feet in earlier times, its current size is 5 lakh.
He said, “Around 50-75 thousand devotees are now able to be accommodated within the temple premises.”
Modi further said that Kashi is the city of eternity where awakening is life and even death is a celebration.He termed it as the religious and spiritual capital of the country.
He said that new India was developing alongside and listed the achievements of his government in changing the lives of people for the better.
The Prime Minister also expressed his gratitude towards every labourer who has worked for the construction of this complex and did not stop work even during the pandemic.
The Prime Minister asked people to make three promises to him.He said that people must promise cleanliness, innovation and self-reliance.
“India is moving towards a new tomorrow but we need to work harder on cleanliness.We also need to stress on innovation.
Startups are changing the face of the country and we need to carry it forward.We also have to emphasise on ‘Atmanirbhar’ which is essential to make the country strong,” he said.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, BJP president J.P.Nadda, Deputy Chief Ministers Dinesh Sharma and Keshav Maurya, Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan, Mahendra Pandey and state BJP president Swatantra Dev Singh were present on the occasion.
