The much-hyped romantic comedy movie ‘Chaavu Kaburu Challaga‘, which has ‘RX 100‘ fame Kartikeya and ‘A1 Express’ fame Lavanya Tripathi, in the lead role, was rejected by the audience though having a novel concept and has turned out to be one of the biggest flops in recent times.Apart from the lead pair, the film also has Aamani, Murali Sharma, Srikanth Iyengar, Rajitha, Achanta Mahesh, and Prabhu in the supporting roles.
The movie is directed by Koushik Pegallapati and is produced by Bunny Vasu and mega-producer Allu Aravind under GA2 Pictures banner.The film revolves around a graveyard worker who falls in love with a nurse after seeing her at the funeral of her husband.
It has music by Jakes Bejoy, the cinematography is handled by Karm Chawla, and editing is done by G Satya.
Though his character Basthi Balaraju and his acting won a lot of praises, the film couldn’t bring in more viewers to the big screens.‘Chaavu Kaburu Challaga’ is Kartikeya’s fourth flop in a row.Accepting that the film did not perform as expected, hero Kartikeya took to his Twitter account and apologized to all his fans and urged for another chance from the audiences.
He tweeted saying, “#ChaavuKaburuChallaga a movie that explored a new actor in me,got me closer to the hearts of many.Been reading your messages,made me proud of #Basthibalaraju.And movie nachani andaru chinna thappulunna kshaminchesi inkoka chance ivandi,will definitely rectify and bounce back”.He will next be seen in a villain role in Ajith’s ‘Valimai’.
