Earlier is it was reported that popular Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar had acquired the remake rights of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika’s 2019 film, ‘Dear Comrade’.There was news that Karan Johar approached Shahid Kapoor for the Hindi remake earlier but after the failure of the film in Telugu, there was no news on this project.
Now the news o this remake is back on track and it is said that Karan wants to remake this film with happening star Karthik Aryan as the main lead who is riding high on success with back to back hit films.The film is an intense romantic drama, written and directed by Bharat Kamma.
The Telugu film is produced jointly by Mythri Movie Makers and Yash Rangineni.Though the lead pair’s performance was appreciated, the film couldn’t do well at the box office.
