New Delhi, November 20 : , Karnataka Congress President D.K.Shivakumar and Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi met in Delhi Saturday to discuss key issues relating to the state.

The names of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee office bearers are expected to be finalized, where there is a chance for some major changes.

Siddaramaiah, the former Chief Minister of Karnataka, also met with Congress President in Delhi last month.

He stated that he was not interested in politics of the nation and prefers to remain focused on state politics.

Siddaramaiah said these in response to the “attempts” of party leaders to give him a larger role in national politics.

It is now being suggested that Shivakumar could be offered a prominent role by the top leaders in national politics, following his meeting with President of the Congress,

The party plans to play important roles in the next year’s elections across many states.

Shivakumar, who claimed that BJP leaders were involved in the alleged Bitcoin scam, reached Delhi before making controversial comments about Araga Jnanendra, Karnataka’s Home Minister.He said, “The Home minister is a lunatic and should go to NIMHANS for treatment.”

Shivakumar, a former BJP leader, had earlier written to Prime Minister NarendraModi asking him to suo motu take cognisance about the Bitcoin scam.

Congress Party is asking for an investigation into the Central government.

The Karnataka Congress says that the party will raise this issue at Parliament.

This issue was discussed at Shivakumar’s Saturday meeting with Sonia Gandhi.
