Telangana State Government has been very proactive in developing the important areas of the State.For many years, Karimnagar even though being the third biggest and most important city, in Telangana, was always been seen as a Naxalite effected area and city.
After, National Government announced their new list of possible Smart Cities, in which Hyderabad and Warangal, were a part, Telangana Government, requested the central government to add, Karimnagar, to the list.
Central Government, obliged with the State Government’s request and announced Karimnagar as a new Smart City! People of Karimnagar should be very happy with the new announcement as this will result in a great prosperity to the remotely developed area!
