Kangana Ranaut, an Indian actor, recently shared an old clip of Karan Johar, a filmmaker, reacting to her comments about the ‘movie mafia’ and stating that he was not interested in working with her.Kangana posted an edited clip on her Instagram Stories containing Karan’s remarks and her response.She thanked Karan for his frivolous outbursts and claimed that she would rub them in his face when she established herself as a filmmaker and producer.
During one of her previous appearances on the chat show Koffee With Karan, Kangana had referred to Karan as the ‘flagbearer of nepotism’ and accused him of being a part of the ‘movie mafia’.In 2017, Karan spoke about Kangana at an event in the London School of Economics, where he questioned what Kangana meant by ‘movie mafia.’ He also stated that he chose not to work with her.
The edited clip also included a segment of Kangana speaking at an India Today event where she responded to Karan’s comments by questioning his talent in comparison to hers.Kangana and Karan have exchanged numerous remarks directed at each other in the recent years.
Recently, actor Priyanka Chopra mentioned in a podcast that she was being pushed into a corner in the film industry, and she needed a break from the politics.Kangana reacted to this by saying that Priyanka had become a Hollywood star, and she had produced and directed her own film, which was releasing soon.
Kangana also criticized Karan for being an obnoxious, jealous, mean, and toxic person who ruined the culture and environment of the film industry, which was never hostile to outsiders in the days of AB or SRK.She demanded that Karan’s gang and mafia PR should be held accountable for harassing outsiders.
In another post, Kangana mentioned that the media had written extensively about Priyanka’s fallout with Karan because of her friendship with SRK and the movie mafia.Cruella, who is always looking for vulnerable outsiders, found a perfect punching bag in Priyanka and harassed her to a point where she had to leave India.
