Bollywood queen Kangana Ranaut has disclosed that she had plans to start a restaurant in the hills, but financial troubles held her back.In a recent Instagram story, the actor shared an old interview clip with film analyst Komal Nahta in which she talked about her wish list beyond movies.

She mentioned that cooking was on her agenda and she had intended to launch her restaurant in the valley, but faced financial setbacks last year.However, Kangana reassured her fans that the restaurant would open soon.

Kangana Ranaut’s last film, Dhaakad (2022), was a box office failure, and she has previously revealed that she mortgaged her house to finance her directorial debut, Emergency, in which she plays Indira Gandhi.She has completed shooting for Emergency, which also features Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, Vishak Nair, and the late Satish Kaushik.

Kangana is presently working on her Telugu movie, Chandramukhi 2.

In January, Kangana disclosed that she had mortgaged all her properties and everything she owned to produce Emergency.She had stated at a party that even if the movie failed, she had the confidence and resilience to rise up again since she had come to Mumbai with only Rs 500.Kangana recently renovated her Mumbai residence and shared several glimpses of her house on Instagram.
