The teaser of Kamal Haasan’s next film Uthama Villain is already out and garnering a lot of attention in the online space.Kamal Haasan’s look in the teaser was the definite highlight; however the same look has now broken out a controversy.
While many seem to have appreciated them, a section of media has reported that the first look is a copy of French photographer .The buzz is that Kamal’s painted face resembles a photo clicked by French photographer Eric Lafforgue, Who documented kerala’s Theeyam dance.
However, it is still not known if Kamal Haasan has obtained prior permission from the photographer to use his image.
On the other hand, we feel that it is too early to comment anything about the movie as the first look is just based on a famous art form, and Kamal Haasan might have just been inspired from the photograph.
It’s not first time for Kamal to involve in Copy controversies .Kamal Haasan earlier movie Vishwaroopam was also at the centre of ‘Inspiration’ debate when the actor dressed in a hood looked every similar to that of Tom Cruise’s look in Mission Impossible 4.
