Chennai, Nov 30, : .Makkal Needhi Maiam, the political party of actor Kamal Haasan has clarified that the actor is still in the hospital but is doing well. Murali Abbas, spokesperson for the MNM, took to Twitter Tuesday to say that “our leader hasn’t been discharged form the hospital.” He is fine.He will soon be fully healed and able to return home.
The spokesperson continued by saying, “The picture that is making the rounds is one that was taken a few years ago when our leader, following a leg operation at Apollo hospitals, returned home.”
After a picture circulated on social media claiming that the actor had been fired, the spokesperson clarified.
Actor-politician Kamal Haasan tested positive for Covid-19 and is currently being treated at the Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre, Porur.
