Lucknow 11 August : A memorial of the late Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Kalyan Singh will be unveiled in Lucknow on the 21st of August in honor of his first anniversary. The state government has given the task of building the statue to Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC).
The LMC has identified a site for the state to be located at the intersection 1090.
Additional Municipal Commissioner Abhay Pandey has sent an email to secretary of the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) secretary, requesting an NOC for the development of the pedestal.
The site where the statue will be erected falls under the authority of the Memorial Committee.
The LDA Vice President is also the of the Memorial Committee.of the Memorial Committee.
