The CBI and ACB police have arrested a man for misrepresenting court verdicts and spreading slander against judges.Police have arrested a resident from Kadapa for posting objectionable posts on social media against the Andhra Pradesh High Court judges and the Supreme Court judges.
A man named Lingareddy Rajasekhar from Kadapa district lives in Kuwait.He is working as a driver in Kuwait.
For some days, he has been posting posts against the court judgments and judges on social media.CBI officials found that the man is posting the same objectionable content against the judges of both the High court and Supreme Court on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and WhatsApp.
Thus the AP High Court took this as a Sumoto.It directed the CBI to immediately conduct an inquiry and take action against the accused.
The AP CID (Cyber Crime) police along with the ACB have launched an investigation.ACB officials found that Kadapa resident Rajasekhar Reddy was staying in Kuwait and posting on judges.
Later, the ACB and CBO officials took the man into custody when he reached Kadapa.The court ordered the confiscation of his passport.
The CBI has filed a petition to remand the accused.The court adjourned the next hearing to the 12th.
