Justice Satish Chandra Sharma has been sworn in as the Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court.The swearing-in of the Chief Justice took place at 11 am in the Raj Bhavan in the presence of Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan.
The event was attended by several ministers, including the Chief Minister of Telangana KCR, High Court judges and court staff.
Justice Hima Kohli, who is the Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court, has been transferred as a Supreme Court judge.
With this, the Supreme Court Collegium has appointed Satish Chandra Sharma as the Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court.
Justice Satish Chandra Sharma was born on November 30, 1961, in Bhopal.
He graduated with a BSc from Dr Harisingh Gaur University in 1981.
Justice Satish Chandra received three gold medals in the LLB.Justice Satish Chandra practised in Constitution, Services, Civil and Criminal Matters.In 1993, Satish Chandra was appointed as the Additional Central Government Councilor.
In 2003, he obtained the status of Senior Advocate from the Madhya Pradesh High Court.At 11 am, the swearing-in ceremony of Justice Satish Chandra took place at Raj Bhavan.
