Telangana junior doctors union talks with the Telangana government have failed.The union announced that the strike by junior doctors would continue.
However, the junior doctors claimed that they had not received any assurances from the government.
Recently, junior doctors held talks with Telangana DME Ramesh Reddy on the cessation of the strike.
However, junior doctors announced that the strike would continue as usual from today.They are adamant that they will call off their strike and will take up their duties only after receiving a written assurance from the government.
It is reported that they have discussed many issues during the discussions with Ramesh Reddy.The DME said that the state govt will not compensate the families if any of the junior doctors die due to corona.
The state govt said there was no point in giving beds to infected medical staff in NIMS Hospital.
Junior doctors, however, alleged that they saw Minister KTR’s tweet and wanted to call off the strike but they did not get proper assurances in the negotiations with the DME.It has been clarified that they are continuing their strike for the time being.In particular, medical services at hospitals like Gandhi, NIMS, Osmania, Nilofar, Sarojini Devi were disrupted in Hyderabad.
