Chennai, 21 Nov : .A clip by Junior NTR in which he asks politicians to cease engaging in personal attacks has been viewed by more than a million people. This two-minute clip, which the actor uploaded to Twitter Saturday night, was viewed over 1.2 million times by Sunday morning.
In the video, Junior NTR stated that it was okay to criticize and respond in politics.The actor stated that “but, these must not be on personal issues” and that he was hurt by the Andhra Pradesh Assembly events on Friday.
Chandrababu Naidu, the former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh was attacked verbally on Friday.Some of these attacks were directed at Naidu’s spouse.
Junior NTR stated that “when we ignore public issues and engage in personal attacks on women, it is going to pave the road for anarchy.” He added that honoring women was part of our culture, and in fact it was something that had been in our DNA.
The actor stated that “this culture of honoring and respecting women must always be passed down to the next generation” and cautioned that we could make a huge mistake if it was destroyed.
