According to the JKPC spokesperson, the party has urged the Administration to probe the claims of the family members of the slain civilians, who have contested the official version and refuted the allegations made by the police.The spokesperson for JKPC stated that the party has asked the Administration to investigate the claims made by family members of the victims.

“It is concerning that the police and families of the slain civilians are making contrary claims.

To determine the facts of this case, it is essential to conduct a thorough and impartial investigation.This will not only uphold the dignity of the institutions of justice and fair play but will also pacify peoples’ anger and address their apprehensions about the gunfight in question,” he said.
He stated that this will ensure the integrity of the justice system and fair play, as well as pacify angered people and resolve their concerns about the incident.
The party demanded handing over the bodies to their families for the last rites.
For the final rites, the party asked that the body be handed over to the families.
“The least the police and the administration can do is hand over the dead bodies of civilians to their respective families for the last rites.
The administration and police should do their utmost to hand the bodies of the civilians over to the families.Denying dignity in death is an inhuman act,” the JKPC spokesperson said.
