The ‘Janotsav’ event was originally scheduled to take place on the evening of Thursday (September 8) at Doddaballapur However, Bommai had to postpone it again until the 11th of September (Sunday).

The postponement this time is announced in the wake of the death of the Forest Minister Umesh Katti.”It was determined to observe the day of mourning for three days in the state. There will not be any government programs during this time.

Except for the control of floods there will be no programs,” Chief Minister Bommai declared.

The party is aiming to increase its momentum with the “Janotsav” campaign.

In the wake of the backlash of BJP and Hindutva activists in Karnataka following the killing of Praveen the party is trying to prepare its employees for the upcoming assembly elections as well as civic elections in Bengaluru.

The saffron-colored party is concerned about the show of unity of the opposition Congress.

The two factions of Opposition leader Siddaramaiah and Karnataka Congress President D.K.Shivakumar are fighting an unison fight and gaining public support.

Sources in BJP informed that in the event that the rains continue to create destruction in the state, and particularly in Bengaluru the planned “Janotsav” celebration on Sunday could be delayed.

They also agree that the festival is plagued by the jinx.
