Veteran comedy hero and character artiste Rajendra Prasad has won handsomely to become the president of the Movie Artistes Assocation (MAA).Rajendra Prasad won against Jayasudha with majority of 87 votes.
Jayasudha who was not appeared anywhere yesterday has responded on the results and she lambasted at Rajendra Prasad for making fun on her.The veteran actress feels that Rajendra Prasad, true to his profession as a comedian is making fun of her and talking funny instead of maintaining dignity.
“I would like to congratulate Rajendra Prasad for winning this elections.But I am upset for the way he was talking post results.
When you are elected to an association like MAA, you should have maintain your dignity He is a comedian in films and is behaving like one outside as well’’.
Jayasudha vows that she isn’t going to participate in MAA programmes and events.“I don’t want to participate in MAA events or programmes.But I’ll do my best to help from outside,” said Jayasudha
Meanwhile, she hoped that the new president would work for poor artistes and fulfill the promises he had made during the elections.
