Los Angeles, Aug 5 : Actress Jamie Foxx has successfully convinced Hollywood star Cameron Diaz to return to acting. Diaz was last seen on screen in the 2014 musical film “Annie” and has recently announced her decision to retire from acting.
However, she is set to make a comeback in the film ‘Back in Action’.Co-star Jamie stated that he simply had to tell her what “fun” the film could be, according to aceshowbiz.com.
The 54-year-old actress said on Entertainment Tonight, “Cameron is an incredible force, and she has accomplished an amazing job in the industry.We are so proud of her.”
“Getting her to the boat basically meant asking her, “Do you want to have fun? Just have a blast and have fun! I believe that’s the thing that led her to it.”
In the year in 2021 the actress announced that she had decided to step away from her business in the hope of being able to “manage” various aspects of her life.
She stated, “When you do something at a very high level for a lengthy duration of time, you will find areas of your life that are given to others.”
“For me I just wanted to manage my life for me personally,” she shared of her decision.
“My routine in the day is what I am able to do on my own.I was thinking”I’m not sure what I’m like for myself.’ It’s a tough thing to admit,” she shared.”I had a need to be whole.”
It was reported previously that Diaz was experiencing “anxious” however “excited” when she returned on the big screen.
