YSR Congress party; The Opposition party of Andhra Pradesh state seems to be in a financial crunch.After the debacle in elections the party has decided to cut down the administrative and maintenance expenses.
The party chief YS Jagan has decided to move his party office to his Lotus Pond residence.The plush office at Jubilee Hills Road No 45 will no more exist.
Insiders say this move is a part of cost cutting measures being adopted by the party post-election defeat.According to rumours, shifting of office to Lotus Pond will save the party a whopping Rs 1 crore a month.
The party , which has taken a stand of United Andhra Pradesh , has lost grip on Telangana and it was almost emptied in this region.The main opposition party in Andhra Pradesh is also gearing up to establish an office in Vijayawada.
Till then YSRCP headquarters will be shifted to party chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s residence at Lotus Pond.The new party office would act as Central Office for both States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
It is also said that funds have dried up for YSR Congress following the recent defeat.The party leadership had decided to save as much money as possible for upcoming by-elections.
