New Delhi, Dec 5, : , Jacqueline Fernandez, a Bollywood actress, was stopped at Mumbai Airport on Sunday by authorities.However, she was later allowed to continue. According to the information, Jacqueline was quizzed recently by the Enforcement Directorate about a case of money laundering prevention involving Sukesh Chandrashekhar as well as seven other people.
According to a source, a LoC (look out Circular) was issued against the actress.
The agency suspected that she might travel abroad and had sent a letter to the authority.
Jacqueline was stopped by Mumbai airport authorities when she arrived.However, she was released later.Sources claim that she was about to board a flight to Delhi.
On Saturday, the Enforcement Directorate filed a chargesheet under the PMLA act.It named Jacqueline as one of the witnesses.The court had received the chargesheet shortly after it was filed.It asked the agency for a copy of the chargesheet to all the accused.
It is possible that Jacqueline could be called back to the investigation.
December 13th is the next date in the matter of the charge sheet.
The matter was not discussed by the ED officials.
