Ahmedabad 18 August : Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, who was in the capital city of the state on Thursday and declared that he did not have any reason to be concerned when a few of the leaders quit the party to join the BJP.
In his address to the media, he said, “It is an opportunity in disguise that if some leaders leave the party, new members will have an chance to climb in the ranks.”

He was responding to the question of certain Congress leaders and members leaving their party for the BJP or another.In the last decade, at forty at Congress MLAs and leaders have left their party and joined the BJP.A few of them were incorporated in the state government.In the 2020-21 session, eight MLAs elected by the BJP symbol in by-polls and were elected to the Assembly.

In a personal account, Gehlot said, “When Indira Gandhi was defeated in 1977 People used to claim that the party would never win power Then I was with the NSUI.Some people left the party, but I did not, because I believed in the party.

Gehlot has launched the party’s online campaign and also announced Rath Yatras that will travel across the state to collect opinions of the people, which will assist in creating the district and state-level declarations of the party.

On the current sluggish viral situation Gehlot declared that it is currently been circulating in the states of four to five and, in light of the state of affairs, “I demand that the Central government declare it a pandemic of the nation and provide assistance to the state to manage this situation.”

He carefully avoided questions about the pre- or post-alignment with the Aam Aadmi Party.He declared that he was certain that the party would succeed this time around, because people are fed up with the rising cost of living and privatisation of education and the poor state of health as well as other infrastructure in the state.
