Panaji, Dec 11, : .ATK Mohun Bagan struggled to overcome their poor recent form and had to accept a draw with Chennaiyin FC at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Saturday, 2021-22 Indian Super League.

With seven points, the Mariners remain outside of the top 4.<br/ <br/ ATK Mohun Bagan made a couple of chances to win the first half.But, in the 18th minute ATK Mohun Bagan won the game.Liston Colaco scored, but not before the ball touched the bar.Roy Krishna opened the scoring with a stunning through ball.<br/ <br/ In the 16th minute Ashutosh Mehta displayed great skill, and attempted to score from the right flank.
CFC defenders stopped the attacker before Manvir Singh could get the ball.<br/ <br/ Tiri of ATKMB was given a yellow card for his harsh treatment on Edwin Vanspaul in the 22nd minutes.
In the same way, Chennaiyin's Reagan Singh was cautioned in 25 minutes for an untimely tackle on Roy.<br/ <br/ Chennaiyin FC was able to get into the game, with Captain Anirudh Thaapa and LallianzualaChhangte in the middle of the attack at the quarter-hour mark.However, they couldn't do much damage to ATKMB.<br/ <br/ CFC scored a corner in the 41st minute.However, Amrinder Singh (ATKMB) was able to stop it.In the 45th minute Vladimir Koman equalized and gave Amrinder nothing to lose.Polish striker Lukasz helped Koman with a throw in that caught Bagan's defence completely off guard.
Post the break, Hugo Boumous and Roy showed glimpses of their link-up play but Chennaiyin remained resolute.
It was Edwin from Chennaiyin who could have handed his team but was unlucky in his attempt.
Bagan brought in David Williams surprisingly in the dying embers of the game but the Australian failed to create an impact as both sides split points.
