Bambolim, Goa : , November 22 : .Chennaiyin FC has restructured to take on Hyderabad FC in their 2021-22 Indian Super League campaign at the Athletic Stadium. The two-time winners have created a solid team that includes both youth and experienced players.This balance makes the team a great place to play under the guidance of Bozidar Bandovic as their head coach.
Chennaiyin FC also enjoyed quality time at their pre-season training camp.They played five friendly fixtures which gave them momentum, and Montenegrin is positive that they are well-prepared.
Montenegrin, 52, is aware of the fierce competition within the league and wants his team to concentrate on just one match at a given time.
“I would like to discuss each game one by one.It’s very important for us to focus on one game before we move onto the next.”We will go game-by-game and aim to be in top-four,” Bandovic stated to the media at Monday’s pre-match virtual press conference.
Due to injury, Germanpreet and Rafael Crivellaro will be unavailable for the season opener.
Bandovic spoke out about Tuesday’s match and HFC’s experience line-up.
We will use our strengths, and exploit their weaknesses.We are confident that tomorrow’s game will be a successful one.It is important to be able to both defend and attack in order to score goals.Tomorrow’s game will be our first.We are prepared.
Anirudh Thapa was appointed as the new skipper of Marina Machans.He feels that things aren’t changing for him because he’s surrounded by experienced players who help him improve as both a player as well as as a captain.
I am aided by many senior players.This is nothing new for me.I know that there have been senior players before me who guided me as a player.Thapa said that Narayan Bhai [Narayan Das] and the foreign players have helped me and other team members improve this season.
