Beijing, January 1, : .Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo has announced that its sub-brand iQOO will launch the iQOO9 series of smartphones in China on January 5.
The smartphone maker also confirmed the inclusion of a Samsung 50MP ISOCELL GN5 main camera. The company shared a post by iQOO stating that the iQOO 9 Series will include a primary camera equipped with Samsung’s 50MP ICOCELL GN5 sensor, while the secondary will feature a 150 degree ultra-wide angle lens.
The company claims that iQOO 9 is the first series of smartphones to include the 50MP GN5 sensor from Samsung.
The iQOO 9’s Samsung GN5 50-megapixel main camera may be paired with a Sony IMX663 telephoto lens and a 13-megapixel ultrawide, 120-degree FOV camera.
iQOO already confirms that the iQOO9 series will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU and support 50W wireless charging.The company also confirmed that the iQOO9 series would have a backup 4700mAh battery.
The phones will also sport a 2K120Hz E5 AMOLED display of LTPO 2.0 type, 517 ppi pixel density and 1,500 nits peak luminosity.They are expected to have a 1,000Hz touch sampling speed.
