In his 194th match, MS Dhoni has completed 4500 IPL runs.
Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni has joined in an Indian elite club of 4500 run-getters in IPL.
Chennai Super Kings vice-captain Suresh Raina, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan are the other four players in the list who surpassed 4500 runs in the IPL.
If the foreign players are included, Dhoni becomes the 8th cricketer to reach the milestone including Australia’s David Warner, Chris Gayle and AB de Villiers apart from the four Indian players.
On this occasion, Suresh Raina posted a Congratulatory message for Dhoni on his Twitter which grabbed the attention.
“Congratulations Mahi bhai (@msdhoni) at becoming the most capped IPL player.
Happiest that my record is being broken by you.All the best for the game today and am sure @ChennaiIPL will win this season’s @IPL (sic).” tweeted Raina.
His comments came at a time when the Franchise is in thoughts of disaffiliating Raina from CSK.Considering the series of failures, many CSK fans are urging Raina to come back to IPL, however, they don’t know the ball is in the Franchise’s court.
