KL Rahul’s 132 not-out against RCB is the highest score by a captain in the IPL history and also holds the record of the most runs in an innings by an Indian batsman.

Leading his team to the top of the IPL 2020 points table, the KXIP captain KL Rahul set a few records with his unbeaten 132 runs against RCB.Rahul becomes the fastest Indian to reach the 2000 IPL runs milestone.Earlier it was on the name of the Indian Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, who took 63 innings to score 2000 IPL runs.

The record was on his name for eight years, and KL Rahul has beat it in his 60th innings.

Dropped twice by Royal Challengers Captain Virat Kohli, KL Rahul has recorded his second IPL hundred smashing Shivam Dube for 23 runs in the last over.

His 132 not-out is the highest score every by a captain and an Indian in IPL.Previously, it was on SRH’s captain David Warner who scored 126 in IPL 2017.Before Rahul, Virender Sehwag was the Indian top scorer in the list with 119 for DD in 2011 IPL.

In their next encounters, KXIP will take on RR on Sunday while RCB will cross its paths with MI on Monday.
